Chiller Selection Preparation

Applications involving chillers fall into two main categories. 

Chilled Water Systems which are suitable for temperatures typically between 6°C and 12°C but can accommodate outlet temperatures above 0°C. 

Lower Temperature Liquid Cycling Systems operate at temperatures at or below 0°C and require specialised fluids with a lower freezing point.

Condenser Cooling Type Identification

AUCHlEVE offers 3 different types of chiller design.  All employ a shell & tube evaporator to provide chilled water for your application and various condensers dependent on your requirements.

Water-cooled Type chillers employ a water-cooled condenser which works in conjunction with a cooling tower.  These units have the highest performance output.

Air-cooled Type chillers employ an air-cooled condenser and are employed where the use of a cooling tower is not an option.

Evaporative-type chillers use an adiabatically cooled condenser, which enhances condenser cooling efficiency in dry ambient conditions.
